Colette

Patient Advocate

Colette is a patient advocate and co-founder of the UARS Initiative, a patient advocacy coalition advancing awareness and research in sleep-disordered breathing and upper airway conditions. As a patient living with Empty Nose Syndrome, she brings both lived experience and a deep self-directed study of regenerative medicine approaches relevant to nasal mucosal pathology. Her professional background includes work on the extramural grant-funding side at the NIH National Human Genome Research Institute and academic training in statistics at Carleton College. She currently contributes to sleep science research advocacy and is actively engaged in efforts to advance funding pathways for regenerative therapies in nasal reconstruction and related conditions.
